Nevalor Publishers is an author-led independent literary initiative based in Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan. It exists to support serious literary work and to sustain a considered engagement between writers, readers, and texts, grounded in care, discipline, and historical attention.
The project is founded on the belief that literature remains one of the few enduring forms through which memory, history, and moral inquiry can be carried forward with clarity. Nevalor does not pursue scale or immediacy. Its focus lies on coherence, continuity, and the slow construction of a body of work shaped across years rather than seasons.

Nevalor Books is the publishing imprint devoted to literary fiction and long-form narrative work. It publishes novels and related forms shaped by historical consciousness, narrative discipline, and sustained attention to language and structure. Titles are released independently and made available in print and digital formats through global distribution platforms.
Nevalor Post serves as the editorial and essay platform. It hosts long-form essays, close readings, and reflective prose that treats literature as an intellectual and ethical practice. Nevalor Post is not a promotional outlet; it is conceived as a space for inquiry, interpretation, and considered engagement with writing and reading.
Nevalor Studio is a writing environment designed to support authors working on long-form projects, with tools for writing, revision, continuity, and manuscript development.
Nevalor Screenplay is a dedicated screenwriting environment within Nevalor Studio, designed to support the writing, structuring, revision, and formatting of screenplays. Its tools include screenplay-specific elements, Focus Mode, Script Settings, Revision History, Script Insights, and Find and Replace. Writers can preview and export their scripts as PDFs, while project-based workspaces support the development of screenplays from initial writing through revision and preparation for presentation.
Nevalor Library is a digital reading and access platform that provides a catalogue and reader for published works and selected public-domain works, with features for searching, organising reading, and tracking reading progress.
Sindhi Literary Classics is a non-commercial effort to preserve the literary heritage of Sindh. It gathers classic works of Sindhi literature, many long out of print or difficult to find, and makes them available to read and download freely.
Great Authors is an alphabetical catalogue of writers who have shaped literature in Sindh and across the world. Each author is given a concise record of life, birthplace, introduction, and principal works, with links onward to related essays and works where they exist.
The Alor Trilogy is the defining literary project of Nevalor Books, a work of historical fiction set in the kingdom of Sindh between 631 and 715 AD. Rooted in the reigns of Chach, Dahar, and Kasim, it traces the kingdom’s formation, succession, fracture, and conquest across a single historical arc.
The Meaning of Nevalor
The name Nevalor reflects this orientation. Nev (or Neva) refers to newness and renewal—the beginning of a voice, a work, or a literary journey. Alor was the ancient citadel of Sindh, a historic center of learning, culture, and memory. Together, Nev+alor gestures toward emergence and renewal while remaining attentive to historical inheritance.
Nevalor Publishers does not position itself as a movement or a school. It operates deliberately on a modest scale, privileging authorship over visibility and responsibility over output. Its purpose is simple: to publish literary work with care, and to foster engagement that treats writing as a serious and enduring practice.
